Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
There are so many variables (size of garden, amount of plants, size and type of hard landscaping required etc etc.) that it is impossible to answer this at this stage. After our initial contact I'll be able to give you a better idea. Before entering into a contract to provide a planting or garden design for you, we will discuss costings.
What should I do before our first meeting?
On my initial visit to you, I will assess your garden as well as finding out what you want from your garden. Prior to this visit, I'll send you a questionnaire to complete which we can discuss together on this visit. It's also helpful if you have a look at some different garden styles and have a think about which ones you like.

Why should I use a garden designer?
For so many reasons! I will be able to save you money in the long run. I know what can and can't be done and what plants are suitable, and will flourish in your garden. I can provide you with fresh ideas and use design tricks to get the most from even a small space. If you just want a patio built and know exactly where to put it, I would recommend using a landscaper. However if you want to look at the bigger picture and turn your vision into reality, a garden designer is for you.
Which service do I need?
