This long and thin back garden was a challenge in that the client specifically wanted a pergola to attach 16 solar panels to. A large pergola seating area and walkway was designed with space for all 16 solar panels. Two new trees were planted on the other side of the garden to balance out the height of the pergola. Ornamental grasses and perennials were useed throughout to soften the hard landscaping.
