Planting Refresh

After renovating their 60s bungalow, this client turned their attention to the overgrown, mature garden. Whilst trying to keep some of the lovely mature shrubs and trees, additional planting was added in to refresh and modernise the garden and to encourage more wildlife.

An old pond was filled in and transformed into a focal point with an Amelanchier tree and wild, naturalistic planting. Planting was added around a new fire pit area and a long bed down the side of the garden was filled with shade tolerant planting.

Three beds have been refreshed so far  - this is a work in progress for the client so there will be more planting design to do as their renovation continues.
